Great Strides

​Available for dogs 5 months and older who have completed the 'Making Strides' course or have successfully passed an entry assessment (book a consult if you wish for your dog to be evaluated).

 

This course is an extension of the foundations course 'Making Strides'. It will build on the skills introduced and further proof your training and solidify your communication.

​

Ensure you can provide your dog's vaccination record with the necessary vaccines for their age.

 

Please bring

- buckle collar or well-fitted harness (avoid "no-pull" harnesses)

- leash (4-6ft)

- high-value treats your puppy enjoys (and a pouch/bag to hold these)

- blanket, bed, or mat

Children are permitted but must remain respectful and not distract or interact with other people or dogs. If not, they will no longer be welcome.

 

Dogs of all breeds and sizes are welcome. If your dog is nervous, reactive, or aggressive, please communicate this to me before the first class, and we will discuss how to set your dog up for safety and success.

* Choke chain, prong collars, e-collars, slip leads, or any other aversive tool is not permitted during the course. If you currently use any of these tools, you are welcome to book and use a buckle collar or well-fitted harness.
